Specimen #04002, 5/30/2001
Size: 9 by 10 inches, 1 inch thick
Composition: White cement (Winterstone), reinforcing
mesh. Impressions made using house number "4" and "1" for
the skull, a boning knife, screwdriver, screw eye, scalpel
blade, electrical plug, crescent wrenches.
Collection site: Washington, DC
Comments: I used a different formulation of cement
this time. It gives a different look, and it's more difficult
to sculpt. The result has some superficial surface cracks
that add a very appropriate texture to this piece.
