Length: 3 inches, head to tail (8.5 cm)
Composition: Sterling silver wire, 12kt gold filled
wire, #12 surgical steel scalpel blades, utility blades
Comments: My very first praying mantis sculpture.
The heavy body and delicate torso is reminiscent of a gravid
female (or maybe she just ate her boyfriend?). I had originally
planned to keep this for myself, but... as with my other sculpture,
I'd rather it be out there in the world.
