Length: 3 inches long, without legs
Composition: 1/2cc hypodermic syringe, sterling silver
wire, red copper wire, stainless steel scalpel blades
Collection site: Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands
Comments: There's something to be said for that all-over
bright 12 karat gold. Those scalpel claws feel so appropriate.
I felt them in a different way, too -- I got one of my fingers
caught in there as I was working on this.
