Today's summary: Grasshopper sculpture for garden complete!
Got home from work... and... finished the grasshopper sculpture
for the Denver garden project! I really like how it turned out.
Take a look:

The sculpture is about a foot and a half long. The wire is copper,
with a bluegreen patina. The wings are perforated brass sheet, with
glued-on glass dots. The eyes are larger glass dots encased in aluminum
mesh. I'm REALLY happy with the result.
The inchworm and
ladybug from last
week arrived in Denver today -- the collector is VERY happy, he
said they're wonderful, I'm so thrilled.
After I took my photos at my parents' house, I went upstairs and
hung out with Josh, flyingcar, and my brother Stefan. Mmm. Mellow. More
work to do tomorrow, though!
