I made these dichroic link-style beads using a single layer of transparent dichroic glass. I etched the glass by hand to create the pattern in the turquoise. From loop to loop, each link is 1 inch long (2.5 cm). With some chain, wire, and/or beads, you could use these to make a bracelet. Or, you could make a necklace and matching earrings... let your imagination run wild!
The sturdy sterling wire loops are securely fused/melted into the back of each glass square. I also dabbed on some SuperGlue because it would seal the backs (without me adding a bulky second sheet of glass). So, you don't have to worry about the wires coming loose or catching on anything.
