eBay listings: success! And, more art.

My auctions went even better than I expected. I'm astounded. Obviously I appreciate the money because it helps justify the time and materials I put in, even beyond my own artistic satisfaction... but, I still appreciate most of all that people like and want my work this much.

I listed a few new ones the other day:

I guess these little drawings/paintings are rather frivolous compared to my big-investment sculptures... but, then again, I LIKE that about them. I like being able to start bidding at a dollar, and people who hope to get them DO get them at a reasonable price. ... well. Fairly reasonable. Some of these bidding wars go quite high! I guess people wouldn't do it unless they wanted to, though.

Thank you so much, to all of my RL friends and netfriends who've helped support my work by buying it or even just by bidding. It REALLY means a lot to me.

Either way, I will still continue sculpture as well... this isn't a replacement activity, even if I do appreciate the ease.

On a personal note, I've had a lot of trouble with sleeping this week... sleeping strangely at night with lots of dreams or nightmares, and then oversleeping in the mornings. On the upside, some of those days it has actually helped me out a lot to "phase shift" my day. But. Still.
