Specimen #04004, 6/27/2001
Size: 18 by 24 inches, 1 inch high
Composition: White cement (Winterstone), integral
reinforcing grid, two hanging points on back. Impressions
made using crescent wrenches, socket wrenches, saw blade,
hex nut, numbers "4" and "1", Phillips screwdriver, spray
paint can.
Collection site: Oriole Place, Maryland
Comments: My largest fossil sculpture so far. It's
HEAVY, too, about thirty pounds! The hanging points are quite
secure, but I'm not sure how anybody could attach this to
a wall, due to the weight. I need to ask my local frame shop.
I'm considering offering a glass-topped table as a holder
for this.
