About This Item
I created this original mixed-media art on canvas using a combination of archival digital ink and acrylic techniques.
One of a limited
series of twelve works, this piece has a unique color scheme
and overpainting.
As a result, this is considered a "variable edition" work by traditional fine art standards. Next to my painted signature, I number "#/12 VE"
to make it absolutely clear that only twelve share this cartoony black design.
The canvas is gallery-wrapped (stapled on back) and comes with a hanger. The black-painted edges mean you can hang it as-is, or frame if you prefer. On the reverse there is a small description of the work, a copyright notice, and the date. When complete, I protect the canvas with archival matte Premier Art Print Shield.
About the Artist, Jen Gagne
I have been an artist all my life, fascinated by zoology. My original pop art has been featured in gallery exhibitions and art fairs across the United States, as well as in newspapers, magazines, art websites, and private collections worldwide. I've won top honors in national and international competitions. You can learn more about me on my Artist's Information page, and see sketches and commentary in my Art Blog.
As you can see, I love using a variety of velvety, rich, contrasting colors with black lines and black edges, and as a result, my work matches any decor. Since I use a similar palette of colors and sizes throughout my portfolio, my art also looks great in groups.
I'd like to say thank you to all those who already support my work -- without you, I wouldn't be able to continue creating as freely as I do now! Terms of Sale
