Today's summary: Relieved, silver PMC bracelet.
Relieved
What a relief, my Denver client has seen the sculpture photos and
he really likes them. He wrote me, "Jen, What fun!!! They look terrific!".
They're two months behind on their project, so, if I need more leeway
it won't be a big deal.
I really need to work out a better system for getting commissions
done way AHEAD of time. I guess I could just give people longer
estimates... although in this case it was a little difficult since
I have only had the downpayment for about a month, and I had to
buy a whole lot of weird materials and learn to use them. Bit by
bit I'm feeling more organized artistically and professionally speaking,
which is good. People seem generally happy with how things go, which
is the most important thing.
So. I'm determined to get myself relaxed and rejuvenated tonight.
Silver PMC bracelet
Of course as soon as I say that, I'm thinking to myself, "Hmm...
I would love to work on some PMC silver jewelry or something tonight...".
I got an idea for how to make a bracelet on a wire core. But if
I do that, it'll probably use up the remainder of my supply. Hrm...
... (two hours later) Okay, so, I used up the last of my little
wad of PMC to make this bracelet. It's C-shaped with a wire core,
with little dragonflies and dots impressed into it. Simple. Nice.
I like it. Numbered it 05003. It cracked in places so I patched
it with more PMC and I'll re-fire it tomorrow, it should be fine.
As soon as I have photos I'll post 'em.
