Summary: Making a cement fish fossil sculpture, steps 7-8
Step 7.Add more cement.

I added more Winterstone cement, until the "U"s were totally
covered, all over the tray bottom to a depth of about a half
inch. Only the wire "tails" stick up through. Since the tray
I used was transparent, here's what it looked like from beneath:

Step 8. Then I took the precut rectangle of wire mesh
and laid that on top. Threaded the wire "tails" on through
the mesh.
