Journal entry for October 30, 2001Today's summary: Gold-leafed wrought iron nail.Last time I was at the Renfair, I bought a wrought-iron nail from an ironworker. Square, tapered, really nice. Kinda like a miniature railroad spike. Of course, with the medieval theme of the festival, they were selling nails as "A Nail From The True Cross". True Cross or not, this nice bluish-black nail would make a perfect dragonfly body... once I add gold-leafed stripes, that is. Take a look. I'll post to my journal when I make it into something.
