Journal entry for November 6, 2002:
Me = artist. Really. I promise.
Recent inspirations.
My designated "studio" room at my current residence is
very close to how I want it organized, which is good since I've
been getting Ideas lately. Ideas for my insect
sculpture and fossils,
but also other random stuff. This is a good thing, not just because
my art is important to me, but I also see it as a sign of continued
emotional healing. Woo.
For example, I've been daydreaming a LOT about making my own copper
furniture when I get my own apartment again. Once I get my next
paycheck I'll probably start doing some furniture tests. I'll be
sure to post pics here, of course. I love my blowtorch! Hope I don't
burn my parents' house down... or accidentally soak it with green-patina-producing
acid...
I also updated my website and restarted my journal (obviously,
heh), which is very important to me in terms of maintaining the
creative aspects of my life. The digital art, etc. which I had been
storing on my other website is now on beware-of-art.com
in my "other
pursuits" category. Still no HTML, but at least the images
are there.

I was a bat for
Halloween. I designed and made this costume myself using some
cool stretch velvet, with fiberglass rods for bones. The wingspan
is huge, but only weighs 2 pounds. Myahahahah! As for the one
on the right, a friend of mine loves Oreos, so I made this alternate
food pyramid. |
